Bukky Yusuf is a Science educator, consultant and Senior Leader who has worked in education for two decades. She teaches secondary sciences, specialising in Chemistry at A level / Level 3 BTEC. She has undertaken a number of leadership roles within mainstream and special schools. Bukky has a variety of Ed(ucation) Tech(nology) experiences which includes whole school implementation of mobile devices to enhance teaching and learning, participating as a judge for BETT Awards and serving as an education board member for Innovate My School. Bukky’s keenness for education and the impact that educators can make is reflected in the presentations that she delivers at local and national levels. She also participates in a number of educational initiatives which supports the development of educators at all levels. These initiatives include WomenEd, BAMEed and SLTChat. She is a London Regional Leader for WomenEd and is registered as a leadership coach in the coaching programme run by the Department for Education / Teaching School Council.
Who is Edith Kay
Edith and Kay were an ordinary couple who are representative of all those who devote their lives to taking care of vulnerable children, fostering them and welcoming them warmly into their family home. Over many years, Edith and Kay worked to promote resilience in vulnerable young people, and to instil the values of compassion and generosity of spirit. Their deep-seated belief in the power of education and care to transform lives underpins the ethos of our school.
